HC Deb 16 November 1916 vol 87 c962
36. Mr. HAZLETON

asked whether it is proposed to undertake in Ireland an agricultural census on similar lines to that now being carried out in England and Wales?

Mr. DUKE

It is not at present intended to depart from the practice now followed whereby the useful particulars obtainable by a census are published by the Department of Agriculture. Detailed figures showing the crops, livestock, and other agricultural products for Ireland for the present year were issued by the Department in September last.
