§ 38. Mr. SNOWDENasked the Secretary of State for War if he will inquire into the allegations of an insufficiency of food supplied to the men of the 2/4th Battalion, Shropshire Light Infantry, at Great Yarmouth Camp?
§ Mr. FORSTERI have had inquiry made into this case, and find that there were defects in the messing arrangements due mainly to the fact that this battalion has only recently moved to its present quarters. The defects are being remedied, and everything is being done to ensure the comfort of the men.
