HC Deb 15 November 1916 vol 87 c777
47. Sir C. HENRY

asked the Secretary of State for War the number under the age of thirty at present engaged in the Anti-Aircraft Service in this country; and whether it is the intention to transfer men suitable for active military service from this branch, and to replace them by men who it has been decided are not eligible for active service?

Mr. FORSTER

The process of replacing men fit for general service by Home service men is being carried out. Such a substitution must, however, be a matter of progressive adjustment as the substitutes become sufficiently trained.
