LONSDALEasked the Prime Minister, if his attention has been called to the fact that, owing to the uncertainty as to the trade policy to be pursued by this country after the War, British development of the production of goods and materials which were formerly supplied mainly or exclusively by Germany is being seriously hampered; and whether it is the intention of the Government to introduce legislation to prevent the dumping of German goods in accordance with the Resolutions of the Paris Conference?
§ Mr. BONAR LAWHis Majesty's Government have already expressed their approval of the principles laid down in the Resolutions of the Paris Economic Conference. The methods by which those principles can best be applied are being considered by the Committee on commercial and industrial policy, and also by the Departments concerned.
