§ The PRIME MINISTERIt is not contemplated to make any change in the future with regard to the responsibility for foreign policy.
§ Mr. LAMBERTDo I understand the Prime Minister to repudiate the statement made by the Under-Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs on Tuesday last that the Government cannot share responsibility with the House of Commons or anybody else?
§ The PRIME MINISTERI do not repudiate it in the least. The Government is responsible for the foreign policy of the country, and the House of Commons can censure them if they like if that policy is not in accordance with their views.
