Mr. PRATTasked the Secretary of State for War if he is aware that intimation of the death of a soldier abroad to his nearest relative at home, where such death has taken place owing to disciplinary measures, is made in harsh and unfeeling terms, calculated to inflict needless pain and humiliation upon relatives; and whether he will take steps to secure that in future such intimation shall be made in a more humane manner?
