123. Mr. GILBERT

asked the President of the Local Government Board whether he can state if any local road authorities in the Metropolitan area have intimated that they do not intend to water the roads in their districts during the summer months; and, if so, in view of the public health question involved in such action, can he state what he proposes to do with the authorities in question?
