Mr. CATHCART WASONasked the President of the Board of Trade what restrictions have been placed upon race meetings, and whether such restrictions have been relaxed in any way during the last six months; and whether, in view of 2716 the feeling caused among all classes at the display of such waste and the discredit placed on the shoulders of the Government and the House of Commons by its continuance, he will give the matter his careful consideration?
