HC Deb 31 May 1916 vol 82 c2710
91. Sir J. JARDINE

asked the Secretary of State for India whether the exemptions from Customs duties and other privileges arranged by the Government of India in case of small quantities of dutiable goods sent by friends as comforts to officers and soldiers of the British and Indian Armies have been or will be extended to those serving in Mesopotamia, the Persian Gulf, and East Africa?

Mr. CHAMBERLAIN

My information is that this concession has been granted.
