HC Deb 31 May 1916 vol 82 cc2720-1
118. Mr. FELL

asked the President of the Board of Trade if properties insured against damage by aircraft and sea bombardment are covered against damage occasioned by the firing of our big guns either for the purpose of practice or to repel attacks by the enemy's ships?

Mr. PRETYMAN

Damage by concussion from the firing of guns when used against enemy ships is covered by the Government Aircraft and Bombardment policy. The question whether the further risks comprised within the hon. Member's question can be similarly included is a difficult one, and is at present under consideration.
