§ 36. Mr. SNOWDENasked the Minister of Munitions if he is aware that employers in controlled establishments are requiring from workmen particulars as to their age and if they are attested; if these questions are asked with his sanction; and, if not, whether he will take any action in the matter?
§ Dr. ADDISONI think that my hon. Friend must refer to inquiries made with a view to the completion of a special register of male employés which firms are now obliged to keep. Under Regulation 41 A of the Defence of the Realm Regulations there is an obligation upon such employés to supply on request the information necessary to enable the employer to make and revise this register.
