Mr. DEVLINasked whether any and, if so, what steps have been taken in connection with the inquiry which he promised into the circumstances surrounding the shooting of Mr. Sheehy-Skeffington; who will constitute the Court of Inquiry; whether the proceedings will be public; whether any provision will be made to have the relatives of Mr. Sheehy-Skeffington represented at the inquiry; and whether, meantime, the military officer or officers concerned in the shooting have been placed under arrest?
§ The PRIME MINISTERI think it is clear that this inquiry cannot take place until the conclusion of the court-martial, which is being or is about to be held on the officers concerned.
