HC Deb 18 May 1916 vol 82 c1642
92. Mr. RUPERT GWYNNE

asked the Financial Secretary to the War Office whether his attention has been called to the case of Lance-Corporal J. Glynn. No. 2268, 1st N.M.D., Signal Company, Royal Engineers, who has been discharged from the Army as physically unfit for further war service; whether he is aware that Glynn was at the front since the beginning of the War until he was gas-poisoned and has been, in all, seven years in the Army, and that he is now awaiting sanatorium treatment for tuberculosis, but has been discharged without any pension or compensation; and if he will state whether it is proposed to give him more adequate treatment?

Mr. FORSTER

This case is being considered by the Chelsea Commissioners, and I will inform my hon. Friend of the result in due course.
