Sir JOHN SPEARasked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Board of Agriculture if any alteration has been made to facilitate the giving of assistance to farmers during hay and corn harvest by soldiers serving with the Colours; whether that assistance may be obtained by direct communication, between those requiring such assistance and the officer commanding the men available to render it; and whether the Board of Agriculture will publish a clear and definite statement on the subject?

They realise to the full the urgency and importance of the matter.
