It is not usual to state the 886 numbers of casualties of a particular regiment on particular occasions, and if I now make an exception to the rule hon. Members will, I am sure, not treat it as a precedent. Two battalions of the Sherwood Foresters were involved, and the casualties were as follows:
There are also some men missing, the number of whom is not quite certain, but is probably nine.
