§ 71. Mr. WATSONasked the Under-Secretary of State for War whether time-expired men recalled to the Colours under the Military Service Bill will not be given more than thirty days' notice?
§ Mr. TENNANTTime-expired men recalled under the conditions stated would be liable to be called up at any time after the appointed day.
§ Mr. WATSONDoes not the right hon. Gentleman think that a little longer than thirty days should be given to these men who have already left the Service before the Act comes into operation, and are probably now in business or other occupations?
§ Mr. TENNANTThat is really a matter for debate. It was debated yesterday. I do not think that I can go back on the decision that was arrived at.
