HC Deb 04 May 1916 vol 82 c102
2. Mr. GINNELL

asked whether the shipment of a class of iron ore essential for the manufacture of great guns from Sweden to Germany still continues in coasting vessels; whether the Grand Fleet recently met and captured the 10,000 ton vessel "Sir Edward Cassel" engaged in the same trade; and why the wireless inquiry to the Admiralty for instructions was answered by the Foreign Office to release the ship?

Sir E. GREY

The answer to the first part of the question is presumably in the affirmative. The vessel referred to is presumably the "Sir Ernest Cassel." There has been no interference recently with this vessel so far as I am aware.
