HC Deb 03 May 1916 vol 82 c13
9. Mr. TYSON WILSON

asked the Under-Secretary for War if he is aware that there is a number of qualified chemists in the Army whose services are not being used to the best advantage; and whether, in view of the demand for dispensers, he will take steps in the interest of the Army to utilise the skill and knowledge of these men?

Mr. TENNANT

All medical units at home and abroad are fully supplied with dispensers. If any qualified chemists who are serving in combatant units make application to be transferred to the Royal Army Medical Corps, the case of each applicant will be considered as vacancies for employment arise.
