HC Deb 03 May 1916 vol 82 c30
45. Mr. NEEDHAM

asked the Prime Minister if he will appoint a Joint Committee of the two Houses of Parliament to consider and report on the question of daylight saving.

The PRIME MINISTER

I hope to be able to arrange on an early day for an opportunity for my hon. Friend the Member for Blackburn to move the Motion on this subject which stands in his name upon the Order Paper. I think that would be a better procedure than that suggested in the question.
