asked the President of the Board of Trade whether any and, if so, what quantity of hops has been imported into Great Britain from Belgium since 1st January, 1915; and whether any of such import came from the part of Belgium not occupied by the Germans?

Mr. PRETYMAN

During the period January, 1915, to February, 1916, 39,416 cwts. of hops consigned from Belgium were imported into this country. The whole of this quantity, with the exception of 320 cwts. shipped viâ Rotterdam, came from the district in the occupation of the Allies.
