§ 88. Sir J. LONSDALE
asked the Chief Secretary for Ireland if his attention has been called to a speech made by Countess Marcievicz at Cork on the 6th instant; 2089 if he will state the nationality of the speaker; and whether she will be interned?
§ Mr. BIRRELL
The reply to the first part of the question is in the affirmative. Countess Marcievicz is by virtue of her marriage a Russian subject. It is not in the public interest to state what, if any, restrictions will be imposed on her.
