WALTONasked the Under-Secretary of State for War whether he has now ascertained that the following Order was issued at the War Office on 1st February, 1916, "That the C.I.G.S. wishes that, officers of the Directorate should attend at the War Office wearing breeches—not slacks—and belts?"
§ Mr. TENNANTI am not aware that such on Order has been issued, but in any case it would merely be a reminder of the standing regulations on the subject.
