HC Deb 14 March 1916 vol 80 c1880
26. Mr. KING

asked the Under-Secretary of State for War whether he can give any information concerning the British Adriatic Mission, its personnel, its work, and its movements; whether General Taylor is in command and, if so, what special qualifications or experience he has had; what persons specially acquainted with the Adriatic littoral and the problems to be faced were with the mission; and whether adequate information about the equipment and requirements of the mission was first obtained?

Mr. TENNANT

A memorandum is being prepared for communication to the Press which will give my hon. Friend all the information for which he asks. At the moment this memorandum is not ready, and I would prefer, with my hon. Friend's permission, not to forestall the pleasure and satisfaction he will have in reading the memorandum when it does appear.
