§ Mr. TENNANTOnly the single men amongst the Home service Territorial soldiers are subject to the provisions of the Military Service Act, 1916. Others may have been canvassed from time to time to undertake the Imperial service obligation, but if they do undertake it it would be a voluntary undertaking.
§ Mr. HOGGEIs my right hon. Friend aware that the intention in those cases is to persuade these men they are in some way or other under the Military Service Act?
§ Mr. TENNANTI can only say that any person who is so imposed upon must be a person with a very small knowledge of affairs.
