§ Mr. TENNANTArrangements have been made for the despatch of all articles needed by British prisoners of war in Switzerland on the requisition of the officer who has been specially attached to the British Legation at Berne to look after their interests. I should like to take this opportunity of expressing publicly on behalf of His Majesty's Government their thanks to the Swiss Government and people for the cordial welcome which was given to the prisoners on their arrival. The accounts of the reception have been received in all quarters with the warmest satisfaction.
