§ 60. Mr. MACMASTERasked the Prime Minister what general or special instruetions were given to our representatives at the Conference now sitting in Paris; and, if these instructions were limited to discussion only, what subjects were our representatives instructed to raise and discuss?
§ The PRIME MINISTERNo special instructions were given to the British delegation at the Conference, but they quite understood that they should act in accordance with the general statement of policy made by me in this House on the 9th March. They took a full and active part in the Conference, and a number of the resolutions adopted were proposed by them.
§ Mr. HOGGEWe are to understand, of course, that the resolutions of the Conference are not binding on this House?
§ The PRIME MINISTERI have said so, and I repeat it.
