HC Deb 31 July 1916 vol 84 cc2061-2
45. Sir HENRY CRAIK

asked the Prime Minister whether he will arrange that the Vote for the Statutory Pensions Committee should be put down for an early day so as to permit of the discussion of the financial position of the Committee?

The PRIME MINISTER

Yes, Sir, I will arrange this.

Mr. BUTCHER

Will the whole question which arises be open for discussion on that date?

The PRIME MINISTER

I hope so.

Mr. HOGGE

There is no Vote for the Statutory Pensions Committee. The only Vote, for the chairman, is on the Consolidated Fund.

The PRIME MINISTER

We will try to arrange that.

Mr. J. SAMUEL

We were promised that the salary of the vice-chairman would be put down for discussion?

The PRIME MINISTER

A convenient opportunity will be given.
