§ 32. Mr. FIELDasked the Home Secretary whether he will furnish a Report of the trial in the case of Malachy Brennan; and whether he is aware that in this case there are grounds for a public inquiry?
§ Mr. FORSTERMy hon. Friend is, I think, misinformed. There was no trial, and the question of a Report does not, therefore, arise. In answer to the second part of the question, I would refer him to the answer given yesterday by the Prime Minister to the hon. Member for North Westmeath.
§ Mr. FIELDIs the hon. Gentleman aware that there are special circumstances regarding this case which make a. special inquiry necessary?
§ Mr. FORSTERI was not aware that there were any special circumstances.
