§ 34. Mr. COOTEasked the Home Secretary if the members of the Royal Irish. Constabulary have received any financial consideration by way of bonus since the beginning of the War; if he will state whether a memorial from this force has been sent to him, through the Inspector—General, Royal Irish Constabulary, praying that a bonus may be granted to them during the period of the War owing to the 1855 increase in the cost of living; and, if so, what action he proposes to take in the matter?
