Mr. KINGasked the President of the Board of Education whether he has noted the recent resignation of teachers at the Leeds Training College and the public criticisms of the state of things there existing; how much money voted by Parliament was received last year by this college; and whether a public inquiry will be held?
§ Mr. REAI am familiar with the circumstances of this case. The amount of the Board's Grant to the college during the financial year 1915–16 was £21,395. The question whether an investigation shall be conducted by the Board, and, if so, what form it shall take, is now receiving my consideration.
