§ Mr. CHAMBERLAINI presume that my hon. and gallant Friend refers to the recent movements of troops from Karachi. I received telegraphic news of this lamentable incident and have asked for a full report regarding it. Meanwhile I have taken steps to ensure that troops will not be moved by rail from Karachi to Northern India under such conditions while hot weather conditions prevail.
