§ 101. Mr. JOYNSON—HICKS
asked whether, in the case of long-service soldier 544 pensioners who rejoined at the commencement of the War, the period of their present service will be counted for an addition to their pensions?
§ Mr. FORSTER
No, Sir. These men draw their pensions as well as their pay during the War, an arrangement which is more favourable to them than if they dropped their pension and had a small increase to it after the end of the War.
