Mr. MOLTENOasked the Minister of Munitions whether the Liquor Control Board have exempted their managers at Annan from the provisions of the Licensing Acts under the power given them to do so by Section 9 of the Defence of the Realm (Liquor Control) Regulations, 1915; and, if not, whether the managers can be prosecuted for offences against the Licensing Acts?
§ The PARLIAMENTARY SECRETARY to the MINISTRY of MUNITIONS (Dr. Addison)The Central Control Board have not exempted their managers at Annan from the statutory provisions referred to, and those managers can consequently be prosecuted for offences against the Licensing Acts.
