Mr. RENDALLasked the Secretary of State for War whether he is aware that the existing billeting scale lays down, amongst other things, that a licensed victualler shall provide a hot dinner, consisting of1 lb. of meat, 8 oz. of bread, and 8 oz. of potatoes or other vegetables, for 1s. 1d., and a breakfast, consisting of tea, milk, sugar, bread, and a lb. of bacon, for 5d., and that these prices do not pay for the present cost of the articles consumed; and will he have the scale revised?
