§ Dr. MACNAMARAThe commissioned ranks in the Royal Navy corresponding to subalterns in the Army are sub-lieutenants, engineer sub-lieutenants, and assistant paymasters under four years' seniority. Officers of the Royal Marines hold ranks similar to officers of the Army. The ranks named will be eligible for the same concessions as subalterns in the Army.
§ Mr. ASHLEYWill the right hon. Gentleman take steps to let that be known in the Navy? I think that it is not known in the Navy, though it is known in the Army.
