Mr. OUTHWAITEasked the Prime Minister whether his attention has been drawn to the fact that public appeals are being made in the United States for funds to alleviate the distress in Ireland of families whose supporters have been deported or killed; and whether he will obviate the necessity for such action by taking steps to give adequate compensation to those men who were arrested and subsequently released as innocent?
