§ 38. Mr. O'DONNELLasked the Home Secretary the reason of the delay in inquiring into cases of Civil servants who are suspended on suspicion of complicity in the recent rebellion in Ireland; and whether, in view of the hardships inflicted on the persons concerned, some of whom have been suspended for over two months though having had no connection with the rebellion, he will take steps to secure that their cases will be disposed of as soon as possible?
Mr. SAMUELThe collection of evidence in these cases is now approaching completion, and it is hoped that they will be disposed of at an early date.
