THORNEasked the Financial Secretary to the War Office whether he is aware that agricultural labourers in many parts of the country are still in receipt of wages of much less than £1 per week; and whether, in the event of paying farmers for the wool clip anything: beyond the prices ruling in 1914, he will consider the advisability of a condition being attached to the purchase providing for a substantial increase in the wages of the farmers' adult employés?
