§ 77. Major HUNTasked the Under-Secretary for War whether the men lately employed in the outside stations of the anti-aircraft defence had been trained at anti-aircraft work for about a year or more; whether most of these men were unfit for foreign service; whether the men 1768 who have superseded them are physically fit and of the right age for foreign service, but with no experience of anti-aircraft work; and can he say why this change was made?
§ Mr. TENNANTThe first two parts of this question should be addressed to the Admiralty. As regards the third part, no men have been superseded, but certain changes agreed to by both the naval and military authorities, both in organisation and in the distribution of personnel, are in progress. It is not desirable to furnish information on the details of these changes.
