§ 86. Mr. G. TERRELLasked the President of the Board of Trade whether the Government propose to allow companies, 1604 the shares of which are in whole or in part owned by Germans, to contract for and carry on work in this country, other than Government work, in competition with British firms?
§ Mr. PRETYMANThe question of how far it is expedient to allow companies, the shares of which are owned by Germans, to carry on work other than Government work, must depend on the particular circumstances of each case. A Bill will shortly be introduced dealing with this subject.
