HC Deb 11 January 1916 vol 77 cc1449-50
23. Mr. MacCALLUM SCOTT

asked the Secretary for Scotland what is the number of students who attended the forestry lectures at the University of Edinburgh during each of the past five years; and how many have graduated in this subject in each year?

Mr. McKINNON WOOD

I am glad to have this opportunity of explaining the numbers given in the first part of my reply to my hon. Friend on the 10th November. The figures supplied to me were based on the number of class enrolments. I am informed that the numbers of individual students were as follows: in 1910–11, 27; 1911–12, 29; 1912–13, 27; 1913–14, 22; 1914–15, 5. The numbers of graduates for the five years under review were, as given in my former reply, 2, 5, 2, 10 and 5, respectively.
