15. Mr. TYSON WILSONasked the Financial Secretary to the War Office if he is aware that the firm of Messrs. F. Carwardine, of Hove, Brighton, who are making ammunition boxes, has introduced a system of piecework under which the workmen can only earn 6½d. or 7d. per hour, the standard rate for the district being 9d. per hour; and whether he will take steps to compel this firm to observe the Fair-Wages Clause or strike it off the list of firms that are asked to do work for the War Office?
