HC Deb 06 January 1916 vol 77 cc1090-1
31. Major GLAZEBROOK

asked the Home Secretary whether he will cause inquiries to be made into the organisation called the "No Conscription Fellowship," which exists for the purpose of resisting any form of compulsory service, and into the records of those who sign its manifestoes; and whether he will take any action against this association, in view of its expressed intention of defying the law, in the event of the introduction of compulsory military service?

Mr. BRACE

Inquiry has already been made on the points mentioned in the first part of the question. As regards the latter part, until the contingency arises I, cannot say what action it may be necessary to take.
