HC Deb 05 January 1916 vol 77 c934
3. Mr. KING

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether he has communicated to the British Minister in Athens the complaint alleged to have been made by the Greek Premier that the Greek Premier had been insulted by a representative at Athens of one of the Entente Powers; whether, if so, any explanation of this allegation has been received from the British Minister in Athens; and whether such explanation can be made public?

The UNDER-SECRETARY of STATE for FOREIGN AFFAIRS (Lord Robert Cecil)

I am unaware of any complaint from the Greek Prime Minister of the nature referred to in the first part of the hon. Member's question. The second and third parts do not, therefore, arise.
