§ 64. Mr. DUNCAN MILLARasked the President of the Board of Trade whether any steps have been taken by the Italian Government to employ the German merchant ships interned in Italian ports?
Mr. RUNCIMANI am glad to have an opportunity of correcting the misapprehension which exists with regard to the German ships interned in Italian ports. By the courtesy of the Italian Ambassador, I have been furnished with detailed lists giving the names of over thirty German ships which were interned and are now requisitioned by the Italian Government. The list shows the manner in which those ships are being employed.
