HC Deb 21 February 1916 vol 80 c448

Motion made, and Question proposed, "That the Proceedings on Government Business be not interrupted this night under the Standing Order (Sittings of the House), and may be entered upon at any hour though opposed."—[The Prime Minister.]

Mr. LOUGH

In reference to the Motion on the Paper, in the name of the Chancellor of the Exchequer—to vote a sum of money out of the Consolidated Fund (in Committee of Ways and Means)—I should be glad if the right hon. Gentleman would state what it is?

Mr. McKENNA

It is a purely formal Motion, which is moved at the beginning of every Session.

Mr. PRINGLE

May I impress upon the Prime Minister that appeal should be made to the Whips to keep hon. Members who sit above the Gangway, and not to leave it to supporters below the Gangway?

Question put, and agreed to.
