HC Deb 17 February 1916 vol 80 cc212-3
84. Mr. EUGENE WASON

asked whether farmers and others who attested under Lord Derby's scheme prior to the passing of the Military Service (No. 2) Act and were not starred, but relegated to later groups, will be given the same right of appeal as is given to those attesting under that Act.

Mr. TENNANT

The answer is in the affirmative.

Mr. WASON

Does this apply to cases of men attested and called up who are the sole support of a widowed mother?

Mr. TENNANT

They will have to go before the tribunal.
