§ 77. Mr. FINNEYasked the Prime Minister whether the Government has received a resolution from the Kidsgrove Urban District Council that it is of supreme national importance that prompt steps be taken to secure the maximum of trade with foreign countries when the War is over, and, with this end in view, the council strongly support the proposal to adopt the decimal system of coinage, weights, and measures throughout the British Isles; and can he say what the intentions of the Government are respecting the same?
§ Mr. BONAR LAWI have received a copy of the resolution referred to, but the subject is a very complex one, and I cannot at present hold out any prospect of early legislation in regard to it.
