In the application of this Act to Scotland the following modifications shall be made—

  1. (a) Sub-section (7) of Section three and Sub-section (2) of Section five shall not apply.
  2. (b) "Borough or urban district" means "royal, parliamentary, or police burgh"; "easement" means "servitude"; "mortgagee" means "heritable creditor"; and "restrain" includes "interdict."
  3. (c) The Local Government Board for Scotland shall be substituted for the Local Government Board.

Lords Amendment:

In paragraph (c), at the end, insert the words "and the Secretary for Scotland for the Board of Agriculture and Fisheries."—Agreed to.
