§ Sir W. EVANSSteps have been and are being taken by the Welfare Section of the Ministry to ensure the supervision of the welfare of boys engaged in controlled establishments. Supervisors have been appointed in a number of cases, and every aspect of the question, including the encouragement of thrift, is receiving full consideration.
